What Foods To Consume And Avoid On Satvik Diet?
Satvik diet includes light and healthy foods. In Ayurvedic practice, it is thought to enhance energy, happiness, serenity, and clarity of mind. In fact, that means eating vegetarian, nutritious, fresh, and delicious food.
Usually, satvik foods consist of ripe, raw and lightly cooked and freshly prepared. Old or undercooked food is not sattvic. They are high in nutritious plant foods as well as low-fat and fried foods.
They are grown naturally and are not filtered as much as possible. It is also noteworthy that sattvic foods include a large number of active foods such as tomatoes, red amaranth, and milk. Sattvic foods are similar to vegetarian foods, and as a result, animal foods are not allowed to be eaten.
Food to Eat in Satvik Diet
The following is a list of satvik foods -
• Fruit and fruit juice - carrots, peaches, watermelons, cherries, mangoes, papayas, bananas, apples, dates, pears, peaches, citrus fruits such as lemons, sweet lime, oranges, grapes and fresh fruit juices.
• Dairy and non-dairy products - coconut milk, almond milk, high quality milk, yogurt, cashew milk, and seed cheese.
• Vegetables and bean products - tofu, peas, beans, lettuce, and bean sprouts.
• Spices - turmeric, ginger, coriander, basil, pepper, jeera, and cinnamon.
• Vegetable grains - barley, quinoa, amaranth, mature and brown rice, oats, wheat, and sorghum (because bread contains yeast and is digested, its use is not recommended if you follow this diet).
• Cereals - dill, Moong dal, soybeans, and yellow peas.
• Peanuts, oil, and seeds. Any nuts and seeds, uncooked or salted, are considered. Almonds soaked overnight and peeled are considered to be the best for health.
Foods to Avoid in Satvik Diet
Satvik foods does not contain overcooked and old foods, otherwise it will be considered harmful. The food that is to be eaten is expected to be cooked fresh and easy and must be mixed in various sources to get the nutrients it needs. Digested food is not recommended when you are in the program because burning anything used is important. Since the food we eat is spiritual, in order to maintain a clean, true, and beautiful soul, food must also follow a similar pattern.
