• Applications of Yog - Health, Psychology, Yogic diet, Panchakosha
• Yoga and Stress Management
• Bhavas, Dinacharya, Ritucharya, CPR, Yoga for metabolic and respiratory disorders
• Yoga for Personality development
• The Practical syllabus includes
• Shatkriyas as per Hatha Yog Texts
• Sukshma Vyayam
• About 50 Asanas incl 28 fundamental Asanas as per syllabus
• Sectional breathing, Pranayama Anulom Vilom, Ashta Kumbhak mentioned in Hatha Yog Pradipika
• Breath, Body awareness, Yoga nidra, Pranav and Soham, selected hymns,prayers
• Meditation, Mudra, Japa, Mantra
• Teaching skills Lesson planning, Yoga for Different groups, Preparation, Ideal Instructor, Yoga models
  Course Duration : 200 hrs
• New Age Yoga Institute is the first Institute to start a course on QCI syllabus in April 2016. Though this course was not as per the QCI norms (Scheme of Yoga school not being launched till then) there were 30 participants who enrolled, 26 appeared for exam and 18 passed the Level 1 examination.
  
  Being a professional examination the national passing percentage is a low 25-35%, however since the Yoga schools are audited by YCB for their teaching quality, New Age Yoga Institute is able to produce good results with 90% candidates passing examination.
  
  The YCB Level 1 course at NAYI has following features
  
  Teacher led 150 hours, Self Study 50 hours
  
  Exhaustive notes in English / Hindi for Theory as well as Practical
  
  Video recording of all the classes available to class students on youtube
  
  At least 20 purely practical Practice sessions
  
  Journal maintenance & regular homeworks to keep self study updated
  
  Active Whatsapp group for regular administrative matters and syllabus related knowledge updates
  
  Extensive teaching practice sessions to every participant
  
  Regular mock examinations and tests for examination preparation as well as concept clarity
  
  Teacher evaluation and Buddy system for progress checking
  
  Entire faculty is QCI Level 2 or YCB 2/3 certified teachers or professional doctors well versed with subject of Yoga.
  
  Course shall have interim written and practical examinations and a final Internal Examination followed by Certification Board Examination. (Date shall be announced later). 
  
  All the participants completing the course shall receive certificate on completion from New Age Yoga Institute and those passing final examination shall receive final certificate from YCB / AYUSH
